What is Solenoid Valve (SV)…? A solenoid valve is an Electromechanical device used to control the flow of liquid or gas through the pipe. How Solenoid Valve Work..? The valve is operated by an electric current through a solenoid, which is coil of wire, usually wound around a magnetic core.
When the solenoid is energized (by applying an electrical voltage). It generates a magnetic field that moves a plunger or armature, opening or closing the valve. How Solenoid Valve work in RO water purifier..?Solenoid valves in RO water purifiers are essential components that control the flow of water at different stages of the purification process.
They ensure that water moves through the system efficiently and that the purified water is delivered when needed.
Stages of Solenoid Valve in RO Water Purifier :
Inlet Valve:When you turn on the RO water purifier, the solenoid valve at the inlet opens to allow tap water to enter the system. This valve is typically connected to the water supply line. Pre-filtration Stage: The water goes through pre-filtration stages to remove larger particles and impurities. The solenoid valve may control the flow of water into these pre-filters.
High-Pressure Pump: After pre-filtration, the water is pressurized using a high-pressure pump to force it through the RO membrane. The solenoid valve may regulate the flow of water into the pump. RO Membrane: The solenoid valve helps control the flow of water through the RO membrane, where impurities and contaminants are filtered out, and only purified water passes through.
Post-filtration Stage: After passing through the RO membrane, the water may go through additional post-filtration stages. The solenoid valve regulates the flow through these stages as well. Product Water and Reject Water: The RO process produces two streams of water: purified water (product water) and concentrated water with rejected impurities (reject water). The solenoid valve may be involved in directing these two streams appropriately.
Purified water into the tank. Once the tank is full, the valve may close to stop water from entering. Faucet Dispensing: When you open the faucet to dispense water, the solenoid valve at the outlet opens to allow purified water to flow out. This valve helps regulate the water flow when you use the RO system
